B is for Biodiversity
This term we'll be talking about biodiversity. It's a big word that means looking after everything in our world. All of nature, trees, plants and animals are linked together like pieces in a jigsaw puzzle. Each piece needs every other piece to survive. Next time you see a Year Two pupil, ask them about biodiversity. They've been learning all about the rainforest. The rain forests of South America, Africa and Asia are the lungs of our planet and help us stay alive. We need to look after all the plants, insects and people who live there.....and right here.
