Bird Feeding

The reception children have been doing a FANTASTIC job of feeding the birds on a daily basis.  We are putting out seed, fat balls, fruit and water in the wildlife garden and I am sure that the little robin waits for us!  I expect the birds missed it during the half term and there were two empty pieces of string waiting for us this morning where the fat balls once hung!  All we need now is a decent seed dispenser.  We have tried the ones that screw onto old pop bottles but they don't seem to be robust enough for a school garden.  Please let me know if you happen to have a spare one that you'd like put to good use.

Many thanks

Mrs Golding

  1. Hi Mrs Golding, I am so happy to hear about how you and the children are helping the birds - that is amazing! I bought a bird feeder from aldi the other day which was on sale - might be worth a look - B&M also had some cheap ones last year, next time I am out shopping I will see what I can get, Mrs Longmoor
