Bird of the Day - Robin

Birding with me this week were members from Class 4. The first thing we did was to fill up the new seed feeder and hang it onto the scarecrow. Then we stood back and waited to see if any birds came. After a few minutes a little robin came down and took some food from the bird table. The children had a good chance to watch him quite close up and he was chosen as the bird of the day.

It is very encouraging that birds are visiting our scarecrow and hopefully we will be able to get nice close up views of them during birdwatching club. Until next time
