Bird of the Day - Redwing plus fox prints in the snow

Despite the snow, we made it out into the wildlife garden for birdwatching club today. There were lots of birds around - well done Jack for spotting most of them!
crow
goldfinches x6
blue tit
long-tailed tit
wood pigeon
wren
dunnock
greenfinch
and Bird of the Day was.....The Redwing - 3 of these winter thrushes were perched in the top of a tree in the wildlife garden.

Also spotted in the snow were lots of paw prints - the children worked out that they were made by a fox - well done guys!

Remember to keep feeding the birds in the cold weather...until next time....
