Bird of the Day - Collared Dove

Spring is in the air and we saw some lovely birds at birdwatching club today.  Class 5 birders spotted:

3 long-tailed tits
1 chaffinch
1 collared dove which was the Bird of the Day
here is the collared dove having a wander through the daffodils
Also spotted was a bumble bee on the flowers.

    It's hard to imagine our gardens without this lovely bird - a relative newcomer to the country, I believe :-)
