Goldfinches

This morning, myself and 2 children from class 1 were VERY EXCITED to see two goldfinches flutter down and feed on the niger seed in the wildlife garden.  They are such pretty little birds.  This was such a privilege and testament to the children's fabulous behaviour.  Isn't that wonderful!  Well done Mrs Longmoor for introducing the feeder.

A very happy Mrs Golding

  1. Hi Mrs Golding and well done to the children for not scaring the goldfinches away. I also spotted two goldfinches in the afternoon - they really love our nyger seed and I think it needs topping up already! I am going to try and get some photos of them for birdwatching club.
